Aadya writes soft, haunting melodies on her musings – about herself and the world. In this solo acoustic set, she will be performing her originals, as well as songs by artists that have influenced her over the years.
Aadya Jaswal is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter based in Gurgaon. Inspired by artists like Bruno Major, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Lizzy McAlpine, and Aurora, her songs explore everyday moments and thoughts –how do we grow? How do we fit in the worlds we participate in? Her haunting melodies and indie folk/acoustic pop compositions create dreamlike, nature-heavy worlds of their own.
Aadya established herself in the indie Indian music scene in 2023 with her debut single, Aisha, which was named an upcoming single by both RollingStone India and The Indian Music Diaries. However, she had entered the musical space years before with a track that was featured in Season 1 of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Made in Heaven’ on Amazon Prime Video.
Her love for connecting with people through music has led her to performances across the world. She has opened for Grammy nominated artist Jamison Ross, as well as rising stars in the Indian music scene such as Tanmaya Bhatnagar and Frizzell D’Souza. She has performed in London and Uganda and can be found regularly at Delhi’s Piano Man Jazz Club.
Aadya will be launching her debut album, “Sanctuary”, in early April.
