Guess who is back. Back again.
The last time Kjeld Sreshth was here at Koota in 2022, he brought the roof down. After fixing our roof, we have invited him again with a brand new set. We have asked him to pay for the roof this time around.
An evening of slice of life comedy. Life, with all its expectations, anxieties and unexpected wins. Kelt cuts a pretty weird slice. Come for laughs and umami perspectives!
Malhar Laugh Club (MLC) is a little over a year old. After 13 successful shows in 3 different formats (Stand-Up comedy, Open Mic and Impov), we bring you Kjeld as our first act of 2024.
Your host for this evening is none other than Sandeep Nanu. If you don’t know him (is that even possible?), he is our resident bird photographer and an ethical snake rescuer. A believer in a perfect work-life balance (questionable considering very few at Malhar have seen him working), he can be found on the badminton court or entertaining kids with his card tricks when he is not at work.
Opening act of this event is our crowd favourite, Sreedevi Ajayan. She took the audience to a complete laugh riot with her affable style of delivery in our open mics. From her need to control things to her insecurities with how people message to how everything needs to be in the right place, she showed us that 4 minutes isn’t enough to tell her stories.
