Nature has always been an incredibly diverse and a great source of inspiration. It is this diversity that we learn to observe, acknowledge and respect through nature journaling. Join us on an exploration walk amidst nature as we immerse ourselves in our surroundings and capture the natural world in our sketchbooks. Through this introductory workshop, discover the art of seeing, sketching and note-taking. Learn the meticulous and fun ways of filling up your journal pages with interesting observations and nature stories.

Materials required

- Hardbound Sketchbooks (If the participants can bring that along) 

  1) Scholar Paryavaran sketchbook 

    Recommended book size: A5, B5 or SQ

    (Please note: this is the link to a pack of 2 books)

  2) Scholar Noire Sketch Book

    Size: A5 

- A4 sheets (If no sketchbooks) Loose sheets could be used for sketching.

- Exam pad A hard base for the A4 sheets would be good to carry while sketching outdoors.

- Sketching pencil set or different grade pencils It would be good to have an assortment of sketching pencils of different grades from 2B to 8B. Or just -  2B, 4B and 6B.

- Black gel pen A black adgel is always fun to have while sketching in the field. (You get the 10/- rupee waterproof, re-fill pens that are good to use.) However, most artists will have their own set of Artline, Micron or Fabrecastle pens which they are welcome to bring and use.

- Colours (Pencils & crayons) The participants are free to carry their personal stationary kit. If they are comfortable with watercolour paints, that would work too.
