Hexaflexagons, popularized by Martin Gartner around the middle of the last century, are magical hexagons made of a small strip of paper, folded in certain ways to reveal hidden sides.
The hexaflexagons discovered almost a century ago, continues to amaze mathematicians, scientists, engineers and programmers till today.
This workshop introduces the joy of hexaflexagons with each of you. You will learn how to make hexaflexagons, flexing them to reveal hidden sides and drawing interesting patterns to make the whole process a lot more fun.
This workshop is open for people of age 8 years and above. You just need to bring curiosity, everything else is on us.
This workshop is conducted by Anand Chitipothu. Anand is a software consultant with a keen interest in recreational mathematics.
