Reliving the Master Composers of Mysore By Ganakalabhushana R.A. Ramamani

The royal court of Mysore patronized several art-forms and was always adorned with scholars of repute. Mysore was an especially well-known seat of music which housed some of the finest musical talent in the country. Few among them were Mysore Vasudevacharya, Mysore Sadashivarao, Veena Seshanna, Muthiah Bhagavatar and HH Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar himself.

This event is an attempt to present a few gems from the repertoire created by these illustrious composers. It will be presented by the versatile musician Ganakalabhushana R.A. Ramamani, A top grade artist of AIR, who has cast a musical spell over connoisseurs with her performances across the globe. She is going to be ably supported by Vid. Venkatesh Josyer on the violin and Vid. C. Cheluvaraju on the Mridangam.
