What started as a humble dream while having a cuppa at Adda, has now blossomed into a thriving hub of laughter and joy. Malhar Laugh Club is completing a year filled with countless hilarious moments and roaring laughter.

It feels like it was just yesterday when we opened our doors to comedy enthusiasts and skeptics alike. The journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. We've learned that laughter truly is the best medicine, and our mission to spread joy has been achieved with each passing show.

Over the course of this fun year, we've had the pleasure of hosting eight incredibly successful shows. Each show was unique, with a diverse lineup of talented comedians, both seasoned veterans and fresh newcomers.

One of the most rewarding aspects has been nurturing new talent. Our open mic nights have become a breeding ground for budding comedians, allowing them to test their material and perform comedy regularly.

To celebrate MLC's first-year anniversary, we have a big show lined up for you. From Comicstaan season 3, we bring you one of Bangalore's best - Shamik Chakrabarti.

Fresh from his time on Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan, Shamik brings his sharp writing (he can cut onions with a pen) and blunt opinions (he hates karaoke) to the stage again. Catch him live here at Koota, for an hour or so of laughs!

Sandeep Nanu is our resident bird photographer and a recent ethical snake rescuer. A believer in a perfect work-life balance (questionable considering very few at Malhar have seen him working), he can be found on the badminton court or entertaining kids with his card tricks when he is not at work. Nanu will be your host for this show.

Mani Subramanian is our quintessential Chennai man, who took all of us by surprise with his immaculate wit and stage presence in every Open Mic we've had at Koota so far. He will be opening this show and we can't wait to see what new things he has in store for us.
