Once Upon A Time: Stories Performed For Children + Theatre Activities
On a delightful day, we hosted “Once Upon a Time,” part of our initiative to bring theatre and performance to children. This session featured the enchanting story “The Poet And The Sun,” directed by Vivek Vijayakumaran and devised and performed by Abhitej Gupta.
For ages 6 & above Language: English
Children enjoyed a captivating performance created using handpicked stories. After the performance, they participated in activities designed to help them respond to the story in their own unique ways. “The Poet and The Sun” is a tale about an adventurous boy fascinated by the sun, so much so that he runs up a mountain to catch it and bring it home. The story’s poetic narrative and vibrant colors captivated the young audience, sparking their imaginations and creativity.
The event was a resounding success, providing a magical experience for the children and fostering their love for storytelling and theatre.
